My second childhood home was no different and when I left home I vowed to only live in new houses. Two new builds later I was back in a damp, dilapidated cottage and loving it.

As you might have guessed, I’m completely hooked on houses, and everything related to them, and love helping home interiors related businesses promote themselves through high quality editorial content.
I’ve been a freelance writer for over ten years and am a member of Women in Journalism and Procopywriters. I’ve also studied SEO –the practice of writing content so it can be found online – and am passionate about helping home interior related businesses share their expertise, services and achievements in a way that will reach new clients.
A City & Guilds Certificate in Interior Design (gained with three distinctions and a merit) also helps me look at your business from your point of view. I understand many of the behind-the-scenes processes you go though and this helps me identify the particular challenges you face and come up with personalised ideas for content that will show off your business in its best light.
So, whether you want to promote your latest project, share your top tips with your clients or simply reassure people that you’re ready and willing to help them, I’d love to help you share your story.

Rachael approached us to see whether we had a completed building project suitable for inclusion in a magazine. We were very pleased to have been asked. Rachael provided a very professional and courteous service dealing with us, and with interviewing our clients. She made the whole process very easy and kept us informed throughout.
We were delighted with the finished article, and the publicity we received: we believe this must be partly responsible for the subsequent award we received from another national magazine for the work undertaken to the house featured. We have no hesitation in recommending Rachael.’
